Sigh….more laws: for warfare, for crimes. And again you tell us God, to show NO pity: “life for life, hand for hand, foot for foot” (Deut. 19:21). I’m hoping you change your mind about pity sometime soon, God. Could pity be the difference between having a hard and a soft heart ~ between violence and peace ~ indifference and love?
